"I have always been interested in the western lifestyle, have roped competitively, and have always had an interest in horses and rodeo sports. I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Natural Horsemanship from the University of Montana Western in which I was part of the first graduating class in this field.
I have been fortunate enough to learn from the best craftsmen through a scholarship program put on by The Traditional Cowboy Arts Association. This program allowed saddle makers, and other disciplines of western artists, the chance to work with the masters of these crafts. Being allowed the opportunity to work with masters such as Jeremiah Watt, Gordon Andrus, Cary Schwarz, Rick Bean, Dave Alderson and others considered to be the best in their field, has been a great experience.
